Battery Workforce Skills & Training (BWST) Grants Program

Powering Australia Battery Workforce Skills & Training (BWST) Grants Program exists to help the installers, technicians, and factory workers already in the battery industry, and the businesses that employ them, get properly trained, so Australia's clean energy transition runs on skilled hands.

Across the sector, demand for battery skills is surpassing supply in roles like battery system design, installation, integration, safe handling, and recycling. Australia's energy transition depends on building a skilled workforce in these critical areas.

If your organisation operates within, or is preparing to join, the battery value chain, this is your opportunity to build capability, improve safety, and contribute to a national skills pipeline for the benefit of the entire sector.
