Solar Battery System Fundamentals is an online course providing a comprehensive introduction to grid-connected battery energy systems and how they work alongside PV systems. This technical course introduces key concepts around battery technologies, the basics of sizing a battery system, and the operational life of a battery system. It also covers typical functions of a battery system, such as providing backup during grid outages and offsetting peak loads.
This four-hour course is suitable for homeowners, council members and non-technical people working in the industry, with no prior knowledge required.
